Algebra II Honors - 1 credit

In addition to emphasizing the topics in Algebra II, this course promotes a higher level of mathematical understanding, with technology and other resources used as tools to explore and apply algebraic concepts. Additional topics include linear programming, matrix applications, using logarithms to solve equations with variable exponents, logarithms with different bases, growth and decay, graphing rational functions and solving rational inequalities. (Prerequisites: Algebra I, Geometry Honors, Honors criteria)
