Attention Seniors:  A very important meeting for the Class of 2018 and their Parents will be held Tuesday, September 19 in the Airline Auditorium.  Sign-in begins at 5:30 pm and the meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.  Information about Graduation requirements, College, Career, Military Planning, TOPS, Financial Aid and Scholarships will be provided.  Students are encouraged to attend the meeting with their parents or guardian.  

 

4-H ers, TODAY is the last day to submit money and registration forms to Mrs. Creamer in D-7.

 

Please check your Bossier Students email for an important message from Mrs. Stevenson.  We will be having an informational meeting regarding an exciting addition to the AP curriculum, and it will be important that you know about the meeting and respond to the email.

 

Our first Young Life club will be this Tuesday, Sept. 19 starting at 7:02pm at the Carriage Oaks clubhouse.  For more info contact  Mrs Douglas or Mr Baskin or Addison Mosura. 

 

Popsockets are in and selling fast. Get one for $10 in F-304 or from a member of History Bowl. Thanks for supporting our kids as we raise money for Nationals this spring. 

 

  Students that would like to take the PSAT exam can sign up in the Counselor's office through Wednesday, September 20.  The cost is $16 (Cash or check w/ DL# and expiration date).  The test will be given on Wednesday, October 25.

 

Trivia night September 19 in library. Forms available in Mr. Baskin’s room F 304

 

Homecoming Tickets on sale now. 2 for $25, 1 for $13.00 until the 22nd. Prices go up the September 25th, 2 for $30 and 1 for $15. Must have your Student ID and All fees must be paid before you purchase a ticket.

 

¿Hablas español? If you speak Spanish and want credit for Spanish 1 or 2, you have until Thursday, September 28 to sign up to take the Spanish proficiency exam!

 

The Spanish 1 exam is on Tuesday, October 3 and the Spanish 2 exam is on Thursday, October 5.  Both tests are at 3:00pmand will last about an hour. 

 

Sign-up sheets are outside the doors of all Spanish teachers on 3rd floor of F-wing or the counselors’ office!  See Mrs. Ferrero in F-308 with questions!

 

We are trying to put together a large fund raiser through several school districts and the LHSBCA  across the state for Harvey Relief.  We would like everyone that orders to wear their shirts to the Friday night football games/school event on October 6. As a way of raising money to help a high school in the path of Hurricane Harvey, we will take $5 from each yearbook sale in the month of September as a donation.  As an incentive to go ahead and buy your yearbook, we are also going to lower the price for the month of September to $55, but ONLY for school orders. Check or cash only, check payable to Airline with a driver's license, please.

Any orders placed online at Balfour will be $60, and we will not get any money to contribute to Harvey victims.Order forms are available at school, online at the Airline Website, or, just fill out the information below and return to room C-3, Mrs. Hahn, with your payment. Thanks for helping our school friends south of us!

First Priority meets Wednesdays during all three lunch shifts in room C1. Bring your lunch and come join us for our meeting to kick off this year!
