AP English Language and Composition - 1 credit

AP English Language and Composition is a college-level course which follows The College Board curriculum. It combines writing for a variety of purposes and reading from various disciplines. An intense concentration on language is used to enhance students’ abilities to use grammatical conventions both appropriately and with sophistication as well as develop stylistic maturity in their prose. AP exam is encouraged. A research project is required. (Prerequisite: English II, Honors criteria)
