Working at the Revel

During the Red River Revel, our NHS members painted faces and taught kids about food.  We saw more than 300 children come through on Tuesday from Caddo and Bossier parishes.

National Honor Society Requirements

Potential candidates are invited during the spring semester of their junior year of high school. Requirements to be invited are a 3.5 cumulative GPA, good standing with the school (no behavioral referrals), and positive teacher recommendations. Students are only invited once. There is a $65.00 membership fee which covers the cost of the organization's t-shirt, the stole and tassel for graduation, local and national dues. Members of this organization qualify for the National Honor Society scholarship awarded at the end of each school year. 


Projected changes for the 2019-2020 school year will be an increased GPA requirement of a 3.75 due to the new weighted grading scale for Advanced Placement and Honor courses.

National Honor Society Teacher Luncheon from the Class of 2017

New NHS members are celebrating teacher appreciation week (May 7-11) with a feast.  They are feeding Airline teachers baked potatoes with all the fixings and yummy cookies for lunch on May 7th in the teachers' lounge.  National Honor Society Loves Airline Teachers!!!

First Meeting For New NHS members

First meeting for new members will be Thursday, April 19th at 7:15 A.M. in the Airline High School Library.  During this meeting we will discuss teacher appreciation week, officer nominations, and sign NHS contracts.  This is a mandatory meeting.  Please be on time and ready for the meeting at 7:15.
