Summer Message

Summer Message 2017

If anyone ever needed a summer break, it is the Airline High School students, faculty, and staff.  We have completed one of the more challenging years that our campus has ever experienced.  Our compressed and shaken down year will now reveal a relief that we all deserve.  I cannot imagine going through what we experienced with any other group than the outstanding educators that make us great.  A simple “thank you” does do justice to the level of appreciation that I have for our school family.  Now, we get ready for what is next.

We are currently settling back into the B-wing office suites and prepping for the coming year.  We are so proud of the new entrance, the new foyer, and new offices.  We are super excited to see how we detail our new procedures and usage of the facilities.  We plan to be operational when we all get back in July.  We will still have to deal with the final few weeks of our construction projects.  The contractor is promising substantial completion of the new E-wing by the time we begin the Fall term.  We will have to deal with the reconstruction of the courtyard, but that will be minimal compared to what we have gone through in the past.

Until then, I want each of you to enjoy a wonderful summer that is full of awesome things to do.  Many of our students will be off to summer camps, beach vacations, or college trips.  I hope we can recharge and return with a newfound motivation to be better than ever.  We have some tremendous challenges to attack, but together we can accomplish our goals that are determined by our mission.  We will embrace our culture that is focused on doing things the right way, the best way, the Airline way.  Have a great summer.  I hope to see you soon.

Ready All Row!!!

May God bless you all,

Jason Rowland, Principal

Basketball Camp

Champions

Wow, what a sensational year the athletes of Airline High School have experienced.  The school has six, yes six, teams that have won their district championships.  This is unheard of happening in a single year.  Also, Coach Reggie Digilormo, coach of the volleyball and softball teams has had both of her teams win district championships this school year.  These athletes and coaches have worked extremely hard to achieve these honors.
