I am a proud product of Bossier Parish schools and could not be more honored to be at Airline High School as one of the assistant principals.  I have been in education for more years than I want to count.  I have taught 1st grade through college juniors and have loved every minute.  This is my second year at Airline; I was at Haughton High four years prior to coming to Airline. Helping young adults achieve their high school goals has always been a goal for me.  I hope to help continue to make Airline High School a great school for academic and social success.  My husband, son, and I all graduated from Parkway High School.  My husband is a teacher/coach at Parkway, and my son is a teacher/coach at Benton.  But, as Airline's motto reads, "Once a Viking always a Viking," I now bleed blue and truly consider myself a proud Viking.

I Love to Travel

I love to travel the world any chance I get.  I feel that all of us need to see how others live and all that this world has to offer.  This summer I traveled through the country of Japan.  The picture on the left is from the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima.  Some of the other countries I have lived in or visited are:

              Austria                        Germany                       Scotland

              Bahamas                    Greece                          Switzerland

              Belgium                      Guatemala                    Turkey

              Belize                         Honduras                      United Kingdom

              Canada                      Ireland                           United States

              Cayman Islands         Italy                               Vatican City

              Costa Rica                 Jamaica                         Venezuela

              France                       Japan

I was truly blessed this past October when my first and only granddaughter was born.  Olivia Mae George, or OMG, is a beautiful little girl who will now be referred to as My Little Princess.
