Selecting a Novel

When selecting a novel for the Independent Novel Research Project, you are responsible for choosing a book that you and your parents agree on and make sure that it follows the following guidelines: 

  1. Written by a British (or foreign) author
  2. Capable of being analyzed for theme, characterization, and various literary devices
  3. Ample literary criticism published about the book (check library databases)
